Working with words gives me deep satisfaction. Some people find a job and then look for a way to move up the ladder. I don’t need to because I like where I am. There is nothing I’d rather be doing.

A dramatic short I co-wrote with my husband called How to Ruin a Perfectly Good Marriage will be shown at the 2018 Cowichan Valley Film Festival. It’s a humorous look at a couple who try to write together. A personal¬†essay that I wrote was published by the University of Alberta Press in Shy: An Anthology. Currently, I’m enrolled in the Online Writing Studio program offered by Simon Fraser University and I’m writing a linked short story collection.
